Fusing and slumping of glass is not new.
It is one of these very old crafts that disappeared over the years, to be found in the last century, or so, after the ancient Egyptians had lost it!
This is sometimes referred to as HOT GLASS WORK, and has been instrumental in the many exciting processes happening in the world of glass today. Indeed I can hardly think of any type of glass work that has not benefitted hugely by it.
